ABOUT ME
My great passions in life are travel, education and photography. Travel has impacted my education through experiencing different cultures and exploring their beauty. This has given me a wider appreciation of people and their lands. Photography gives me the opportunity to document and share the world's unique beauty and emotion.
Flagstaff has been my home since 1993 and is a wonderful place to spend time outdoors. Though originally trained as an accountant and currently a teacher of photography at Coconino High School and Northern Arizona University, I have been involved in photography since high school. During my college years, I traveled as much as my finances would allow, always saving up for that next trip. It wasn’t until our family summer vacation to Alaska that my hobby became more of a profession. Currently, I serve as a volunteer on the Friends of Arizona Highways Photo Workshop team which provides me opportunities to share my knowledge while learning from others.
I dream of my next adventure by keeping journals of places to visit and photograph. I specialize in travel photography but also find enjoyment in sports/action and abstract images. My Blog
